Battery Charger Rectifier Unit (B.C.R.U.) is designed to rectify the 3 phases AC input into a regulated DC output with a battery permanently connected to the DC bus bar. It enables :

• a DC supply without any break (even micro-breaks),
• a permanent charge of the battery,
• a permanent knowledge of the battery charge level.

This equipment accepts a variable frequency input and an active rectifier enables :

• a very low level of current and harmonic distortion over the all frequency scale,
• no reactive power consumption.
