The purpose of this equipment is to provide both testing and programming functions as well as the possibility to record data reports on 3.5'' disks or hard disk. The programming can be done in less than two minutes for each new coding.
All Cospas-Sarsat protocols can be used without special knowledge thanks to selection menu, the software then creating the appropriate coding message.
The RF test allows the user to check the correct functioning of the ELT on all the radio electrical parameters of the 3 frequencies, within the tolerances defined by Cospas-Sarsat.
