Relative error : < ±5% or ± 0.1% vol
Stability (1 month) : < 5% relative
Repeatability : ±5% or ± 0.1% vol
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The OEG 2070 oxymeter monitors and takes continuous measurements of the level of oxygen per volume, the temperature and the pressure of potentially explosive and radioactive gases. The measurement principle of the oxygen sensor is based on the use of a specific electro-chemical pile (type HERSCH pile) which produces a current that is proportional to the oxygen level. Sensors of pressure (type Weasthone bridge) and of temperature (type Pt 100) makes the necessary compensations for pressure and temperature. The semi-automatic calibration is realized by injection of a gaseous oxygen standard. The calibration results are recorded.
This calibration system takes into account :
- past calibrations,
- plausibility and acceptance criteria (e.g., calibration repeatability),
- detection of any calibration system failure.
