The video-rack is designed to handle a secured interface between satellite and Telemetry / Telecommand equipment.

The set-up of the rack is entirely manual by way of switches and a rotary selector on the front panel.

The Telemetry information can be Biphase-L or NRZ encoded on RS422 (CCITT V11) differential lines.

The rack codes the Telecommand uplink in Biphase-L or NRZ on RS422 (CCITT V11) differential lines.

Every input channel is loaded by a resistance of 120 W.

All the input / output channels are protected using:

• A 6.8 V Transil diode for common mode and differential mode voltage protection,
• A 62 mA fuse for current protection.
