GOSPEL gondola

  • The Gospel Gondola enables the localization, the data acquisition of environmental measures, the piloting and the end of flight of a stratospheric balloon. An on-board multiplexer meets scientist Telemetry and Telecommand requirements by offering a user data-rate of 2Mbits/s.

  • The Gospel Gondoal consists of a platform named the Main Module. It contains the basic electronics and enables to connect the extensions or the neighboring systems. These extensions are named Secondary Modules.

  • An optional router enables the scientists to develop their experiment directly on an on-board PC with Ethernet connections. In that case the router replaces the Mux/Demux Secondray Module.
