Within the modern context of electronic fighting, ELTA has developed a VHF barrage jammer (20 ŕ 110 MHz). 20-W jammer, capable of disorganizing and neutralizing the transmissions of the adversary on a battlefield.

• Positioned by an infantryman or by a lone vehicle, it enables to prepare offensive actions or provides an efficient defensive protection.
  
• The purpose of this barrage jammer is to prohibit communications on all or part of the useful frequency range.
  
• It neutralizes all the communication networks on an area of the battlefield, in particular the networks using the frequency hopping. It provides high efficiency at low cost during operations. In addition, it complies with the instruction and training requirements of the armed forces at work, in the context of electronic war.
  
• With very low dimensions and reduced weight, the jammer is tactical system, very easy to transport and to install. Its characteristics offer high invisibility during operations. Agile synthesizer, with low noise and high stability.
  
• The operating modes, the continuous barrage, the intermittent transmission or sliding frequency range, as well as the parameters of the jamming signal, are programmed before use by a data programmer.
