its skills in aeronautic technologies and environments,
ELTA has gained recognition in
the implementation of optimized, reliable and
competitive solutions in the field of onboard
electronics.
ELTA ensures
development, qualification, production and support
of its equipment for both civilian and military
applications.
ELTA works
in cooperation with the main aircraft manufacturers
and complete-system integrators such as Airbus,
Dassault, Thales, Messier-Bugatti or Honeywell
for the development of specialized functions.
ELTA’s know-how in the
following skill sectors:
- Power electronics:
100-W to 50-kW DC/DC, AC/DC or DC/AC converters.
Cockpit or airframe equipment . Power and
frequency converters from 28 VDC, fixed or
wild frequency networks.
- Motor control:
Control of all types of electric motors with
or without sensor for pumps, ventilation systems,
EHA, EMA (ventilation, flight controls, electric
braking, etc.).
- Data acquisition
and processing: Conditioning of sensors,
computers, bus interfaces (ARINC, ASCB, CAN,
Ethernet, FIP, RS, etc.).
- VHF and RF
transmission: board-ground transmission,
localization, hangar repeater (GPS, GLONAS,
GALILEO), RF Combiner for the A380 (combines
the wireless Communication Systems within
the Cabin in order to enable their Application
on board AIRBUS Airplanes).
- System integration:
development and qualification of complete
systems (ex: windshield de-icing system, control
and regulation of onboard cooling systems,
etc.).
