For meteorology, oceanography, hydrology and seismology
applications, ELTA proposes a high stability and
low consumption transmitter which is suited to
the constraints encountered in those applications.
This transmitter is compatible with satellites
ARGOS and SCD.
Fleet and cargo tracking:
Because of its small size and high technological
level, the HAL2 is a necessary element for applications
that require an accurate localization.
Data
collection for meteorology:
For meteorology applications, ELTA recommends
the use of the BM18/19 beacon widely used in the
weather stations and weather buoys and that proved
its high reliability. This equipment communicates
with Meteosat satellite.
ORBCOMM
demonstrator:
This demonstrator enables interfacing with the
ORBCOMM satellite constellation: Users may transmit
and receive e-mails including text and GPS localization
from any point of the world using only this module
and a portable computer.
Equipment
for Telemetry and Telecommand via INMARSAT:
In this application, the equipment used is an
INMARSAT C gondola that enables the management
of stratospheric balloons for long flights.
This system is used to transmit telemetry and
telecommand and to pilot the gondola over the
Earth surface except over the two Poles. This
gondola is of the ergonomic type and fully automatic.
Equipment
for Telemetry and Telecommand via IRIDIUM
:
This equipment provides the communication between
an Iridium mobile telephone and a modem on the
Switched Telephone Network (STN).
It includes a GPS system and an Iridium mobile
telephone used to locate and transmit. This is
an ergonomic, automatic, low consumption module
which provides a worldwide coverage, including
especially the South and North Poles.
