| The COSPAS-SARSAT system allows accurate location and identification of aircraft in distress over the complete surface of the globe. To meet the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization and military peacetime needs, ELTA has developed a complete range of ELT 406 Mhz (Emergency Locator Transmitters) and accessories approved by COSPAS-SARSAT. Many airlines and some armed forces have opted for our Emergency Locator Transmitters also installed by Airbus (preferred BFE) and Boeing. More than 1500 distress beacons are in service on many types of commercial aircraft and almost as many on military aircraft. ELTA, under its brand name CEIS TM, is an essential reference on the automatic Emergency Locator Transmitter market. The robustness of the electronic and mechanical design allows us to serenely guarantee full long-term satisfaction. EUROCAE ED 62 (JAA), TSO C91a and TSO C126 (FAA) technical standards govern the design of our products. This means that our approved equipment meets the national airworthiness authorities requirements. The Emergency Locator Transmitters can be coded according to anyone of the 4 protocols defined by COSPAS SARSAT. The installation flexibility of our equipment allows integration on commercial wide bodies (AIRBUS and BOEING ranges) and on small aircraft (general aviation). Our range of ELTs: ELT S06: Survival type, ELT A06 and A06T: Automatic and Portable (European and US standards), ELT A06V2: Automatic, Portable and Programmable. Our range of accessories: cockpit remote control unit, high- and low-speed external antennas, test bench.
